Use cases - Verification level

[edit] Verification level 1 (identity & address)

• Karen wants people to make a real donation instead of pledges and needs to provide information to be verified by http://flouzo.net/
• Karen goes to her profile on http://flouzo.net/ and goes to the first verification step (beta2)

[edit] Step 1 - Review personal information

• Karen is asked to check the following items of her profile (all required, she has to fill the blank fields if there are some):
  • Name
  • Address
  • Date of birth
  • Picture

[edit] Step 2 - Upload proof of identity

• Two stages : upload now or you'll be blocked later when a X limit is reached. When the X limit is actually reached, handle the documents or block if not received.
• Karen uploads a scanned image of her id card (photographic ID required, must match information entered during the previous) among the following list:
  • Passport
  • Driving license
  • National Identification card,
  • Citizenship certificate
• Karen uploads a scanned image of an address proof among the following list:
  • Utility bill (less than 3 months old)
  • Tax bill (less than 1 year old)
  • Bank statement (less than 3 months old)

[edit] Moderation (beta1)

• Xavier, the moderator, receives the images by email (all info, personal and identity proof, is also stored in the central database on Flouzo.net, linked to the entry from campaign creation)
• Xavier validates Karen's verification directly in the database (no backend)
• The campaign now has the first level of verification
• Anyone can donate at http://iceweasel.flouzo.net/ up to a total of 10,000 €

[edit] Moderation (beta2)

• Xavier, the moderator, reviews the uploads
• Xavier validates Karen's verification
• The campaign now has the first level of verification
• Karen's account is credited with 1,000F$
• Karen receives an email confirming the campaign has first level of verification
• Anyone can donate at http://iceweasel.flouzo.net/ up to a total of 10,000 €

[edit] Verification level 2 (bank account & contract) (beta2)

• Karen want to receive more money, and thus goes to verification process for level 2
• Karen hasn't registered a bank account, so she is redirected to Bank account registration
• Karen successfully registers a bank account

• Karen clicks to approve a 1€ transfer from her bank account (TODO : check fees)

• Karen gets a confirmation call from an automated web service as found at http://programableweb.com/

• Karen receives an email, containing a PDF contract
• Karen returns to the verification page, downloads the PDF contract from there
• Karen prints, signs, scans and uploads the contract on the same page

• When Flouzo receives the transfered money, Karen is credited 5,000F$
• When Karen sees the 4 digit code on her bank receipt Karen goes back to the verification page and enters the number

• Xavier reviews the contract and validates the level 2 of verification, allowing her to receive donations up to a total of 100,000€

[edit] Verification level 3 (ethical board member meeting) (beta2)

• Karen still wants more
• Karen contacts a Flouzo board member to setup a live meeting
• Karen brings her ID to the meeting
• The board member validates verification level 3, allowing Karen to raise up to 1,000,000€
